Director Strategic Broadcast Sales
Summary
Builds Triveni Digital's market position through locating, developing, defining, and negotiating business relationships with strategic customers. Emphasis on development of growth opportunities consistent with developments in the company's core broadcast markets. Reports to VP Sales and Marketing.
Job Duties
- Builds market momentum by understanding Triveni Digital's key potential impact on customers' business plans, and through "vendor ecosystem" development.
- Drives ATSC 3.0 deployments at key broadcast customers.
- Key customer management and development
- Locates or proposes potential business deals/relationships by contacting strategic customers; exploring and closing opportunities.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Help develop the LPTV market segment
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience and deep knowledge of both the business and technology of local broadcast television
- Knowledge of ATSC 3.0 technology and future ecosystem for local broadcasters
- Deep understanding of a local broadcast station workflow and tools from acquisition and production to transmission
- Numerous, well-maintained contacts for high-level decision maker positions within at top broadcast groups
- Track record of successful broadcast sales and channel management
- Flexible, creative, energetic, entrepreneurial
- Ability to work in small company environment
- Significant travel required (up to 70%)
- Knowledge of CRM and office tools
