“We’re pleased to welcome Magna Systems to our international dealer network to provide the Asia-Pacific market with access to smart, affordable solutions for maintaining high-quality digital television services,” said Ralph Bachofen, vice president of sales and head of marketing at Triveni Digital. “The low-cost monitoring solutions we’re showcasing at BroadcastAsia 2009 offer valuable real-time analysis and verification of DTV transport streams, allowing cost-conscious broadcasters to take a proactive approach in providing their customers with a consistent level of service.”
Magna Systems & Engineering specializes in providing products and integrated solutions to the media and television industry. The company was founded 41 years ago in Sydney, Australia, and today has offices in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong and is involved with clients across the entire Asia-Pacific market.
Magna Systems & Engineering Managing Director Robert Clemesha said, “We are delighted to be Triveni Digital’s new international dealer for the Asia-Pacific region. Triveni Digital is an innovative company with an excellent product range. From initial market feedback, we are anticipating very good sales with all our clients.”
Addressing the tough economic climate facing broadcasters everywhere, Triveni Digital and Magna will use BroadcastAsia 2009 to highlight the new StreamScope MT-40LCP, a low-cost version of the award-winning StreamScope MT-40 analyzer. The Magna booth will also feature the StreamScope RM-40SE, a low-cost RF/QAM monitoring probe that makes it easy and inexpensive to monitor DTV signals at the transmitter, ensure continuous service, and rapidly debug issues when they arise.
Triveni Digital’s StreamScope MT-40LCP is a user-friendly solution for real-time analysis and verification of DTV transport streams. The system facilitates end-to-end MPEG-2/MPEG-4 transport stream monitoring and analysis for DTV signals carried by broadcast, cable, satellite, IPTV, or mobile networks. This low-cost model of the MT-40 features two PCI card slots that enable broadcasters to select two input types best suited for their operation. In addition to the lower cost, the product also features a significantly reduced size and weight, as well as an optional battery-equipped unit, offering ultimate flexibility for field use.
The StreamScope RM-40SE is designed for unattended deployment at transmitter sites for continuous, real-time monitoring of the DTV signal. The full-featured unit monitors, measures, and records DTV streams to ensure their integrity, reliability, and compliance with standards, performing comprehensive MPEG video monitoring for real-time RF streams with all the analytical functionality of the RM-40 base model and High Bandwidth Edition (HBE).
